On the move
A higher calling
On the move offers adventure enthusiasts epic hiking challenges taking place across the country from Friday 14 - Sunday 16 June to raise vital funds for homeless services.
Whether your walking, hiking, or climbing, challenge yourself and tick off a bucket list item by conquering one of Ireland's famous mountains like Carrauntoohil and Croagh Patrick. We're asking you to climb a mountain for Focus Ireland, but what you're really doing is taking on the challenge of ending homelessness. It's a higher calling so take on the challenge and fundraise to support those who are homeless or at risk.
Together, we can reach new heights and bring hope to those without a home.
Hikes
Take on an epic hiking challenge like Carrauntoohil and Croagh Patrick, or organise your own hike, as part of On the move. Regardless of which trail you are on, or which peak you summit, you are answering a higher calling to help end homelessness.

How it works
Register
Register for the challenge of your choice, pay the corresponding fees, and create your fundraising page to start making a difference.
Create a team
Consider rallying a team together, or go solo - it's up to you! Getting a group together is a great way to make the hike more fun, this could be as small or big as you like. If you have a team, create a team fundraising page to pool your fundraising efforts.
Fundraise
Set your fundraising target and share your fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues. Make your climb count by raising funds to support vital homeless services.
Summit your mountain
Complete your climb and plant your flag at the mountain's peak to let the world know you're doing your part to end homelessness. Share your achievement on social media, and encourage supporters to donate and help you reach your fundraising goal.
Our Objective
We're aiming to raise €50,000 to support people who are experiencing homelessness across Ireland.
With over 13,500 people currently without a home in Ireland, and with figures steadily increasing month after month, we need you now more than ever to join us in the fight against homelessness.
You can make it possible for us to keep providing vital services for children and their families who do not currently have a home of their own.
About focus ireland
Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes across Ireland.
We are driven by the fundamental belief that homelessness is wrong.
Wrong because it is a failure of society that creates victims out of ordinary people and robs them of their potential, and wrong because it can be prevented and solved; allowing it to continue undermines society.
We need to challenge our society to think and act differently.
We are committed to challenging everything about homelessness: the causes, systemic failures, people’s perceptions and how it is tackled.
