The Big Busk 2024

Help me reach my goal of €250

Ukulele/whistle/percussion/vocals. We play Irish ballads and traditional Irish tunes by combining the ukulele sound to tin whistle and bodhran.

On Friday 12th April, I will be taking part in The Big Busk for Focus Ireland to raise vital funds for homeless services. Focus Ireland are ending homelessness every day for families and individuals and their services are working hard to protect people - especially children - from the trauma caused by homelessness. 

Na Cailíní will be performing at the Bridgewater shopping centre in Arklow, Co.Wicklow from 3.30pm - 5pm.

Just 48 hours to go until The Big Busk!

In just over 48 hours time, Na Cailini look forward to entertaining shoppers at Bridgewater Shopping Centre, Arklow, Co. Wicklow as part of Today FM's Big Busk for Focus Ireland. 

With homeless numbers rising steadily, ever little helps to relieve the pressure on some of the most vulnerable people in our society right now. 

Homelessness can happen to anyone. For many people, it can be illness, the loss of a job, a change in family circumstances. 

It could be you, it could be me, it could be any one of us. Let's get together and do what we can to help.

Na Caílíni taking part in Today FM / Focus Ireland Big Busk

Na Caílíni are delighted to be taking part in this year's Big Busk in conjunction with Today FM to raise funds for Focus Ireland.

With homelessness in Ireland at an all time high, there has never been a greater need for communities to support homeless services. 

Na Caílíni are a traditional Irish music group featuring tin whistle, bodhrán, ukelele and banjolele. Playing a combination of ballads, sea shantys and traditional folk tunes and songs. 

On Friday 12th April, we will be joined by a number of vocalists from 'Sing for Fun' as we come together to make music and raise funds for a very worthwhile cause. 

We'll see you at Bridgewater Shopping Centre @ 3.30pm.
