Every day, Focus Ireland works tirelessly to help people experiencing homelessness get back their hope for the future. We provide essential support services, campaign for systemic change, and work to secure housing for individuals and families.

But we can't do it alone.

Play your part and perform in The Big Busk for Focus Ireland. Join the nationwide busk, use your voice to raise funds for homeless services, and stand up for those experiencing homelessness.

How it works?

You've got two awesome ways to get involved: 1. Busk with us – join a Focus Ireland event, or 2. Organise your own – plan your own busk and be the headliner!

Fundraise

Ready to rock this fundraising thing? First things first: set your fundraising target! Don’t be afraid to aim high but don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Hit your fundraising milestones and you'll earn some sweet digital badges.

Make some noise!

Shout about your busk from the rooftops and get your fundraiser out there! Social media will be your best friend. The more people that know about what you are doing and why, the more money you’ll raise.

A great relationship starts with an introduction…

We’ve been around since 1985 (yes, that makes us 40 years old this year!), and during this time, Focus Ireland has supported thousands of people during the toughest of times to ensure that people can stay in their homes, or find and keep a new home. We know a stable home is the foundation for overcoming challenges like mental health, addiction, and unemployment. With your support, we can be there for the most vulnerable people in our communities. But we can only be there if you’re there too. We believe everyone has a role to play to end homelessness.

Firstly we’ll start with a humble brag... Today FM is Ireland’s number one radio station for 20-44 year olds with nearly 1million people tuning in each week!  ***Cue Confetti Cannon*** 🎉

Today FM are all about forging deep connections with their listeners and their presenters are some of the best known personalities in Ireland. 

Focus Ireland are delighted to partner with them to bring awareness to the pressing issue of homelessness in Ireland. As part of The Big Busk, Today FM will be amplifying the voices of people who have either experienced homelessness themselves or who are playing an active role to end homelessness.
