Focus Ireland reserves the right to refuse any application, and you may be asked for a sample of your busk before we can confirm your involvement i.e. a recording or video link.
There are a limited number of busking timeslots available at Focus Ireland events. Focus Ireland will endeavour to accommodate those who have registered their interest but we cannot guarantee you a place due to high demand.
Focus Ireland may take photography/film footage throughout the event which may feature you. Any interviews/photographs/or films taken will be used for Focus Ireland and Today FM to promote The Big Busk (website or other media-sharing site e.g. YouTube).
All buskers must act in a respectable, professional, and honest manner at all times.
Buskers must not be intoxicated or under the influence of any substance whilst performing and behave in a fit and proper fashion.
Buskers must perform only in the area as directed by Focus Ireland and must not obstruct pedestrian access, flow, fire exits, or busk in doorways or entrances.
If under 18 years of age, be constantly supervised by a parent/ guardian.
Buskers may be asked to stop by Focus Ireland if a number of complaints are received about loud or inappropriate music.
Buskers are solely responsible for their own instruments, equipment, and props.
Buskers are not permitted to use animals as part of performances with concern for animal welfare.
Buskers may not approach the public to ask for payment, nor charge a specific fee for their performance. Focus Ireland will facilitate options for donations including bucket collection, card machines, etc.
All proceeds from the event will be forwarded to Focus Ireland.
