Bring your team together and organise a sleep out at your workplace to fundraise for vital homeless services.
Homeless figures have reached record levels with over 3,500 children living through the trauma of homelessness. By organising a company sleep out, your company can directly contribute to providing essential services to support those in need and help break the cycle of homelessness for families.
In 2023, join other trailblazers in the business community across the country for an unforgettable experience and sleep out against homelessness.
Together, with the support of Bord Gáis Energy and your amazing fundraising, we’re aiming to raise €1.2 million in 2023 to support people experiencing homelessness in Ireland.

How can your company get involved?
There are two meaningful ways your company can take part in Shine A Light
Organise your own sleep out event
Organise a company sleep out in your workplace and rally your team together to sleep out against homelessness.
Check out the 'Host Your Own Sleep Out' guide to help you.
Join one of our organised events for corporate teams
Participate in a pre-planned sleep out event for corporate teams in:
- Cork - Páirc Uí Chaoimh
- Dublin - Leinster Cricket Club
- Limerick - King John’s Castle
Sign up for the corporate sleep out and speak to our team on shinealight@focusireland.ie about securing a place for your group.
Challenge A Colleague
Once you’ve registered, it’s time to challenge your colleagues to take part in Shine A Light to Sleep Out Against Homelessness. As the number of families becoming homeless has increased by 30% in the last year, there’s never been a more important time to show your support. So let’s team up, spread the word, and bring more people together to stand in solidarity with children, families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
