Fundraising

It starts with you - and then we're in it together.

For Shine A Light 2026 you’ll be challenging yourself to spending a whole night out in October Irish weather. But you’re taking on this discomfort for an important reason: So, why should I sleep out?

Family homelessness has more than doubled in the past decade. And children make up over one-third of all people experiencing homelessness.  It’s not just numbers, it’s everyday moments – homework done on a chair, the bedtime stories told over the loud noise of strangers, the big family worries shared in quiet whispers, all happening in one small, shared room.

A national crisis requires a national response. Every business leader, workplace, school class, sports club, or community group who takes part strengthens a nationwide movement. By taking part and fundraising for Shine A Light you can bring about support, stability and a way out of homelessness for children and their families.

Change happens when we do it together.
