Gaelcholáiste na Mara – Daltaí Idirbhliana agus Múinteoirí ag Codladh Lasmuigh ✨

Gaelcholáiste na Mara – TY Students & Teachers Shine a Light ✨

Right now, more than 5,500 children in Ireland are growing up without a home. Behind that number are children missing out on the simple things many of us take for granted: a quiet place to do homework, friends coming over, family meals around the table, and the security of a safe place to call home.

This Friday, our Transition Year students and teachers at Gaelcholáiste na Mara will be sleeping out in the school grounds in support of Focus Ireland’s Shine A Light campaign. We’re coming together to raise awareness of homelessness and help make a difference for children and families across Ireland.

Every child deserves a safe place to call home. ❤️

Please support our fundraising effort by donating through the link below. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help support Focus Ireland’s work to tackle homelessness.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh for your support! 💚

Gaelcholáiste na Mara – Daltaí Idirbhliana agus Múinteoirí ag Codladh Lasmuigh ✨

Faoi láthair, tá breis agus 5,500 páiste in Éirinn ag fás aníos gan teach. Taobh thiar den fhigiúr sin tá páistí nach mbíonn deis acu taitneamh a bhaint as na rudaí simplí a nglacann cuid mhaith againn leo mar ghnáthchuid den saol: áit chiúin chun obair bhaile a dhéanamh, cairde a thabhairt abhaile, béilí a chaitheamh lena dteaghlach agus an tslándáil a bhaineann le teach sábháilte dá gcuid féin.

Dé hAoine seo, beidh daltaí Idirbhliana agus múinteoirí Ghaelcholáiste na Mara ag caitheamh na hoíche amuigh ar thailte na scoile mar thacaíocht d’fheachtas Shine A Light de chuid Focus Ireland. Táimid ag teacht le chéile chun feasacht a ardú faoin easpa dídine agus chun difríocht a dhéanamh do pháistí agus do theaghlaigh ar fud na hÉireann.

Tá áit shábháilte le glaoch abhaile tuillte ag gach páiste. ❤️

Bheimis fíorbhuíoch díot dá dtacófá lenár n-iarracht tiomsaithe airgid trí dheontas a thabhairt tríd an nasc thíos. Cabhróidh gach síntiús, beag nó mór, le Focus Ireland ina gcuid oibre chun dul i ngleic leis an easpa dídine.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh as bhur dtacaíocht! 💚
