Treaty United FC are sleeping out against homelessness

At Treaty United FC, we believe that football is about more than what happens on the pitch. We are proud to be part of the Midwest community and passionate about using our platform to support the people and communities around us.

That’s why this October, we are proud to take part in Focus Ireland’s Shine A Light and sleep out to raise vital funds to help tackle homelessness.

Focus Ireland does fantastic work supporting people and families experiencing homelessness, including in our local community. We want to stand alongside them and play our part in helping to reduce homelessness across the Midwest.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a story. For children experiencing homelessness, it can mean growing up without the stability, security and sense of belonging that every child deserves — without a safe space to do their homework, have friends over, enjoy family life or simply feel at home.

As a club with community at the heart of what we do, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

On Friday, 9 October, members of the Treaty United FC community will sleep out as part of Shine A Light to raise awareness and much-needed funds for Focus Ireland.

We’re asking our supporters, members, partners and the wider Treaty United family to get behind us.
