I’m sleeping out all night in Monaghan town with my dog Annie to help raise funds and awareness of the hardship others face.

This time every year I complain about the cold, the dark miserable evenings and the rain but I’m so thankful that I have a warm home to go into with a blazing warm fire. In Ireland a lot of people are not so lucky.

I will be sleeping out all night in Monaghan Town with my wee dog Annie to help raise funds for people who need a little help.

The older kiddies will join me for an hour or two and this will be great to educate them in what other people’s lives are like and how lucky we are to have a home where it’s warm and dry.

Most people slept out on Friday night but I’ve decided to sleep out on Saturday night 17th October and I’d be very greatful for any donations.

I will keep you all posted on my night.

I am extremely fond of my wee fire and I’m always cold so this will definitely be a challenge for me.

Thankfully it’s only going to be one night. Some people are not as lucky.
