I’m sleeping out against homelessness
Right now, more than 5,500 children in Ireland are growing up without a home. Behind that number are childhoods missing the moments that matter: no quiet space for homework, no friends coming over, no family meals together, no community to grow up in, no safe home to rely on.
That’s why I’m going to sleep out against homelessness on Friday 9 October for Focus Ireland's Shine A Light. My team are taking action because every child deserves better.

Thursday 20th AugI am genuinely blown away by the kindness and generosity of everyone who has supported me in raising funds for the Focus Ireland Shine A Light Sleep Out, which will take place in October 2026 at Cork City Gaol.
When I signed up for this challenge, I hoped to raise some money for such a deserving cause, but I never imagined we would reach €610 so quickly. To every single person who donated, thank you. Your support means more to me than I can put into words.
The reality is that homelessness can affect anyone, and Focus Ireland does incredible work helping people and families who are going through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Knowing that together we have raised funds to support that work makes me incredibly proud.
I truly appreciate every donation, no matter how big or small. Every euro represents someone's kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others, and that means so much.
If anyone would still like to donate, please do. Every single euro counts and can help make a real difference in someone's life.
